I have noticed large group of roadies (50 to 100) doing Sunday morning (9-10am) rides up Keele Street into King City. Does anyone know what the starting point for this group is?

Thanks

JJ

It could be the Toronto Bicyling Network. They meet at Finch Station most Sundays and that is one route that I have taken with them. Google TBN and you'll find all the ride details. Both rides I've been on with them have been pretty good.

The riders your seeing are the " Donut Ride " which starts at a bakery Eglinton & Laird Sat and Sun at 9:00 a.m. prompt and heads up to a italian bakery in King before a trip back into the city via Leslie or Kennedy.

Good group some old pro's and current ones ( toronto local Mike Barry USPS and wife Dede when they are in town ) lots of local 1-2's pace really gets going on Keele and the fast group will go up and do hills north of King rd # 9 and rejoping the group at the bakery and then it's fast again from Bloomington Rd to Major Mack.

This group actually has sprint lead out lines spraypainted on the road for those that contest.

They WILL let you know where to sit in the group if your pack skills need work. Have Fun
