I don't think this shifter is fully indexed, but still a good deal.

That's a screaming deal. The only thing "better" in '07 is the UltraTorque crank (and that's just opinion.) The '06 shifters can execute the "multiple cog" shift which is now only available in Chorus and Record.
If you're looking to build up a classic "old school" frame with all alloy (NO CARBON!), this would be hard to beat.

The FD appears to be Century finish which is a grey annodized. It would be a little out of place, but at $397... that would be easy to overlook.

Thanks for the heads-up on this deal. My old 1989 Tesch is getting new goodies. It's been ignored with 7 speed DT shifters since I had the Schneider built.

Sold out.:cryin:
That's the best news I've had all day. I've been trying to keep myself from buying it and now I don't have to worry. La La La. Congrats to those who did. Killer deal!

and now I can't put a new group on a old battled worn paint job. I'm going broke finding great "deals". I got to stay off "hot deals".

I'm pleasantly surprised. I can't pull up the original page any more as PBK has pulled it, but the gruppo I received came with the carbon compact crankset. Everything is an exact match with the more expensive $520+ group (everything silver except for the carbon cranks).
Did the original $400 group come with the alloy crankset?

Yes, it was the alloy crankset. Looks like you got an even better deal unless you didn't want the compact version.
