Anyone use a Nitto 2-bolt seatpost (the Jaguar or the S-83)? I'm looking for a silver setback post with infinite adjustment and it looks like these might fit the bill. Otherwise, I'm going to break down and get a Thomson setback post (even though I'm not too keen on the way they look).

Nitto SP-72. Got it on my fixed which happens to be a keirin bike. Nicely made for sure and yes, with setback. The adjusting hex cap bolts are 6mm, not your usual 5mm. Typical NJS overbuild.

Sweet bike! I guess I'm mostly wondering if it's truly "any angle" or if it also has those annoying ridges for angle adjustment.

No ridges, any angle as you point out. I agree, I don't really like single bolt posts. I have mostly ITM's and American Classic two bolt designs so you can make really small adjustments.

I have an S-83 on an my old Panasonic. It looks goods and works like a post should. Not sure what the weight is but it's not an overbuilt heavy NJS item. Nitto parts are all excellent quality and design IMO.

You can see the setback on this S-83 seatpost. I was very impressed with it when putting this bike together. I like 2 bolt design (that allows any angle). It looks a bit different than the SP-72 (slightly different head).
I’m going to buy another one. Plus it is hard to find nice quality parts in silver anymore.
