I was privaledged to spend some time with Jonathan Page last night. That boy looks FIT. It was obvious that he is more than a little excited to be going on the Sunweb payroll tomorrow. My wife and I had a pretty good laugh on the way home about how he talks about Sven and Bart like I talk about Myette and Rosey or how she talks about her racing pals in the women's field. I think World's just just a sign of things to come. :thumbsup:

i only see him twice a year anymore, but i was shocked when i saw him roll up on his road bike in waterville valley a couple weeks ago. He rode up from Tilton, over Tripoli road. No biggy.

Anyway, I thought he had grown two inches. He has slimmed down so much (which has to be muscle mass cause he has never been over 5% body fat, seriously) that he looked taller. I said, dang, you look like a climber not a crit rider!

Then he goes and wins Wachuset. I went down for the crit Sunday to hang out and we hit Freindlies for dinner on the way home. And yah, we didn't order off the food menu.

He was sooo relaxed in general. Big BIG difference then previous years. Thats gotta help with the mental energy in January.
