This is my sorta new, at least to me, Axiom steel I just got off Ebay. Full Campy Centaur. Only a couple of rides so far. It handles great, but is a bit heavy compared to my other bike. My other bike, however, cost me about three times as much. I'm pretty happy with it.

Wonderful paint scheme. Everything on it looks great. What's the geometry? How do you like that Wound Up fork? Have miles of fun! By the way, super setting for the pic.

Thanks. I think it's pretty much a standard 59 with a 58.4 virtual top tube that slopes a little. It looked brand new but is actually an '05 that was a shop demo. The fork works well, the head is fairly stiff, which I like. And I like the "funky" look of the wound up. The background scenery is about a mile from where I live - I'm very lucky....

if you ride a seven you are very lucky. if you live within a mile of the picture you are VERY, VERY lucky.
if you have both...well then its just not fair:(

Had it for about 6 months. Rides really well for such a big bike and seems to be tough as oold boots. I've crashed it a couple of times whilst racing and it's almost untouched.

Great looking bike! I bet it rides sweet, just like all Sevens. The paint job is very nice, what are the top tube and seat tube, head tube sizes?

Now that's a custom bike! I like seeing some paint on Ti frames, good job Hackney. Do you have any other custom frames?

My back finally forced me down the custom route and I wish I'd taken the plunge years ago. The seat tube is 64 and head tube is 26. Can't remember the top tube. 60 maybe.
My last two bikes have been a polished GT Ti Edge and then a Merlin Agilis and this beats both of them hands down. Noticeably laterally stiffer than either if them - moves around much less in the sprints. It's a bit heavier than either of them but not very much and no less comfortable.
After two unpainted frames, I decided I wanted something a little more interesting and I went for this scheme as soon as I saw it on a show bike. Seven's paint is the best I've seen - the only chip so far is where the plastic adjuster on the Chorus front brake swung into the frame in a crash.
The only complaint I have is that the gear cable guides are positioned too high up on the down tube. This means that the cables run very close to the tubing as they head down to the BB and the paint has inevitably scuffed. Placing them a little lower on the tubes would alleviate this problem – I may get them moved when the frame gets a respray a few years down the line.
