I read on Sheldon Brown's site that I could swap out Koolstops for better braking on my old Diacompe-style (labeled "Motobecane") center pulls.

Which Koolstop should I use? I am only using a front brake on an early 80's Motobecane, so the clearance thing may be an issue. Will it take the "Ultegra style" replacement shoe, or should I be getting the "Continental"??

TIA,

Porrick

but why not call them and ask em yourself?
By doing so you'll be asking the very people
that know and sell them. :D

BTW you got a pic of the bike?

The are sqared off, have threaded posts and work great.

I used the KS Continentials in the front brake on my SS and they work great. I can't speak to their longevity but so far they stop great.
