I am looking for a good all around cross tire that will be decent in dry and slightly wet conditions (nothing is good in our wet, red Georgia clay mud). I really hate changing out tires every week. Call me lazy. I've been running Huchinson Golds the last few years but thought I'd see what it out there since I'm about to order all of my cross parts to get my bike ready for the season.

From what I hear they're not as good as the original Muds, but I've found the Michelin Mud2 to be sufficient for my needs as of yet.

I'm a big fan of the mud 2 as well
i can run them really low and it's rare to flat.
if it's a smooth course it might be more tread then you like but the center will wear quick which helps that out!
