Back at it again after three (3) seasons

    Hello all,

Just picked back up cycling after three seasons of the road (injury then 2 missed for birth of two kids). So, I feel like a beginner again. Was looking for a forum that had people from the US on it in case there were regional/local rides. Hope this is the place!

    Hi and welcome to RBR!

Where do you live? Do you have any bike clubs near you? That is the best way to meet people to ride with.

You can also scroll down and look through the Regional Rides Forums.

Look up "San Antonio bike clubs" on Google.

Join Strava (you can join for free or fee, both). They have a option to search "heat maps" which shows where everyone is riding. TX can be a sketchy place to ride and I would ride on one of the 'heat map' routes before anywhere else.

"Heat Maps" seems like a great idea. Thanks for the help!
