Not sure how much you got her for, but they are nice riding bikes. 853 I believe.

Clean her up with some fresh tape!

Is the fork bent? Also looks like a little crinkle in the downtube near the headtube, Maybe it is the angle of the photo but it looks the same in your similar post on bikeforums....

I'm not sure what you're seeing... but no, everything is straight. Quickie pic taken tonight in the house with flash... maybe it's a glare from the flash.

Yes, I also posted this in bikeforums.net I'm just showing it off....

Yeah, there's a pump peg on the back side of the head tube.

    Welcome to the club

A screaming deal is nice, but even a modest deal works when the bike is a smart choice. Frame and seat post are the only original equipment left on mine. I got a 53 or 54. What size is yours? If you ever decide to sell, I could always use a spare.

    Jesse,
Mine is a 53 (c to c), just like yours. Technically, we have 55's, as LeMond's were measured c to t.

I've yet to take it out for a ride, since it is raining like mad here, but that will change as soon as the weather clears up!

I think you'll really like the ride on this(I have a friend who still rides his often even though he owns several other newer bikes).Anyway,he mentions all the time that it's one of the best riding bikes he's ever owned.

    sweet!

I have an 04 with the carbon/steel composite frame. Very comfortable bike indeed. The only weak spot was the wheels. Of course, I'm a lardass, and Bontrager Select wheels aren't known for their weight handling ability

This isn't mine. Mine has Easton EA70 wheels and a 100mm stem flipped over.

Steel Lemonds are great bikes. Too bad Lemonds aren't around anymore. I can't even find a used 59 cm for sale. I've also, noticed that most Lemond owners are lifers. They don't want to give them up- especially the steel-frame ones.

I absolutely LOVE how slender the seat stays are! The rear dropouts are SO tiny! Very beautiful!

Yes, we should start a club!

I've never ridden a $5K bike. Is that what this is going to feel like?

I looked at a Zurich today. I think it is a 2002 also.

I am considering a bike to add couplers to. This one had an oval down tube and I don't think this will work with couplers. Does the 2002 Buenos Aires have round tubes or is the down tube oval too?

I've got a 51cm '03. It really is a great riding bike and makes me feel fresh long after an aluminum bike would have wore me out. My only complaint is that the ultra short wheelbase means a large toe overlap

Beautiful bike! The seat isn't level, and it's 2 sizes too small. Other than that, it's fantastic.

I experienced a bit of that today. Will take some getting used to, for sure, but the ride is VERY nice!

so seriously, what'd you pay for it? haha

i'm looking at an 02 BA right now on CL, asking price is $750 which i feel is way too high, i offered 600, but it's so hard to figure out a reasonable price on an 8 year old bike.
