    2004 Fondriest Status Carb frameset

I have found a 2004 Fondriest Status Carb frame that was built as a floor model in a shop. It might have 100 miles and is in pristine condition. The shop owner wants$1500 for the frame and Fondriest carbon fork. Over priced? Thanks for some insight!

that's a very sweet frameset but methinks the dealer is being a bit optimistic-i'd expect to pay closer to $1K,maybe less, esp as it had once been built up and ridden.

Overpriced. <1000 for that frame. Fondriest has an interesting history here, first they ended their US dealer relationships and replaced them with a central marketing group. Then they went bust. During all this, the Status and Level frames were being blown out at low prices. I'd guess that your frame was probably from round one of those changes. The $1500 they're asking is close to that blow out price back then. The frame is now 6 years old and used. You should expect a steeper discount.
You'd be better off with a netbook, they do everything better.

Also, I am wondering if thes frames lose resilience and snap if they sit around for a long time?

    Nope. Myth.

Thanks. Are these frames durable? Will it last?
