2008 Lemond Zurich Min/Max Full Carbon w. Ultegra SL 6600 Components

I am new to road cycling and this is my first post here. Looking for some advice. I am considering buying this bike but would like a little advice. I took it for a test ride. Fits me great and it is in really good shape. My issue is that when I researched it, bicyclebluebook.com has it valued at $430 in excellent condition. He is asking $675 but would come down to $600. I really like the bike but don't want to overpay. Here is a link to the posting....

    Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!!

Show up w cash and make an offer. Maybe go w $500. When was the last time it was serviced. How do the components look. Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate.

The price is good for that bike. The only reservation I have is, the seatpost mates to a proprietary saddle rail design. Expect to find it hard to replace that saddle if you don't like it, or it gets worn. At that time you would be better buying a new seatpost with a universal rail clamp.

If it really only has 800 miles on it, that's a pretty good deal at $600. I wouldn't let the seat post deter you. It's probably a standard 27.2 that's not expensive to replace if and when you want to change saddles.
