Amx Road Bikes + Bridgestone RB 2
Is the AMX road Bike an rebranded iron horse frame?
Im looking at one on craigslist:
"This is a brand new AMX Road Bike.
It has a 22" aluminum frame.
Factory painted with patriot red, white & blue theam.
I THINK its sora, with my research, and stuff.
Supposed to retail for about $400, im not looking for fancy, but a road bike.
Secondly, theres a bridgestone rb-2 near me, bidding on it on ebay.
What is the weight of the stock rb-2?
Im curious, and SHELDON BROWN IS DOWN!
Any help appreciated!
Just wrenched on a '91 RB-2
I bought an RB-2 and wrenched on it a bit, installed Sora 7 speed STI & a NOS Turbo saddle (BOB's please don't burn down my house). The 56cm weighed about 21 pounds stock.
I have the same RB-2 frame although I have yet to build it. The paint job is a classic.
The plan is to dress her up with Chorus/Centaur mix.
Mi piace la mia pasta al dente..
Here's my RB-2 too! They're fantastic rides!

Those were selling on E-Bay for three hundred. Be aware that the one on E-Bay was Sora but it had downtube shifters. Also, that bike is not a 22" frame. The head tube is to short and the top tube and down tube are to close together for that to be a 22" frame. Guessing I would say it is somewhere around a 18".
