    I sold 'em

I sold Coors Light LeMond's when i worked at a shop in the late '80s. They were made around 89-90-91 when LeMond raced for the Coors Light team when he raced in the US. Definitely at the height of his racing days. They were italian-built frames imported by Ten Speed Drive Imports. The actual framebuilder was either Billato or Corso (big mass framebuilding shops in Italy, both good) and the craftsmanship on LeMond's of that vintage was quite good. Paint and overall finishwork from all Ten Speed Drive bikes was generally very good, except on the Coors Lights, the decals had some blue that didn't quite match up to the blue paint on the frame. Minor thing. Tubing was Chromor and TSX, not sure if anything else. Columbus dropouts. Internal cable routing. Most I saw were chromed under the paint with exposed chrome dropouts, fork tips and right chainstay.

Good stuff...I still have a Team GAN issue Chromor Lemond that I bought/rode in '97.

as for the value, it depends. If you get it in front of the right buyer (retro riding collector types) I've seen 'em go for more than that. It's certainly a good place to start.

Hi Seamus, just got a hold on one of the Coors classic Lemond bikes with Campagnolo Delta brakes and full C Record group. I would love to learn more about the bike.

Where the bikes originally sold with campagnolo? Was it a quick seller/ popular back in the day? Was there a big production made of that bike? Any other info would be really appreciated..

    Thanks!

In case you didn't notice, the post you replied to was over 12 YEARS ago, and the last time Seamus posted was 1.31.08. I kinda doubt you're gonna get a reply.
