    Help ID This Bike

Ok this is driving me a bit crazy...aluminium frame and has most of the original components on it (Ultegra 6500, so that puts it in the mid-1990's to mid-2000s), although the guy who gave it to me upgraded quite a few things to include the wheelset, seatpost (carbon), saddle, etc. The only clues I have is this "P" emblem and the associated serial number (PA 65224X) stamped on the inside of the rear dropout. The only thing I can think of is that it might be an older Pinarello. Anyone have any guesses/ideas?

With welds as ugly as those, and the lack of any other decals, I'd bet it was a mail-order from Performance Bike.

I don't know the model or year but for sure it's a Principia.

By the look of that rear derailleur, my guess on the model year is around 2004-2010.

The wheels look mismatched as if the rear was replaced at some point. Some paired spoke wheels were prone to spoke hole cracks.
