Question Issue with FELT F5 Headset

Hi... Recently got a Second hand FELT F5, which is my first Carbon Frame bike. I find grave issue of Steering freezing at 2 to 3 spots , one in center and two at about 25-30 degrees either side.. Making it difficult to ride straight.. Need help as to 1. WHat TYPE of Headset does this FELT come with. I am novice and can not identify. 2. How difficult is to OPEN and grease the bearing ? Replace the bearing with regular tool set 3 Do i need any special tools ? Thanks...

Unless your headset is overtightened greasing it won't help. You can try loosening it up a bit but it sounds like the bearings are worn out. Just take them out and get replacements. Or have your bike shop do it.
