I find the choice of brand rather predictable. Lance is going to need all the "parley" he can get.

Now that he's no longer sponsored by Trek, he can finally get a good frameset.

Nice Parlee! Is that a 1.25" head tube?

Im not a fan of trek, but they make great bikes. It's just that I would never pay to ride/own one. Too many other bikes out there that tickles my nuts.
Ordered and Fitted for my Custom DEAN Titanium frame on Sept 17th, 2008. Finally got it in Oct, 2010!!!

Hard to tell from the photo but if it is a tapered steerer then it's a new Z Zero and not a Z1.

Parlee is making serious headway into the retired doper market.

Too nice a bike for that muppet.

It looks like he needs the more expensive and advanced electronic shifting that SRAM don't make.

Or he signed a waver stating that he would distance himself from the brand, so as not to lower it's appeal.

He was riding stock frames for years that didn't really fit him. Now he can get a custom since he isn't and probably never will be sponsored again. Should have got an Argonaut or Crumpton.

Nope. He was riding Trek's that were handmade to his specs. They weren't the off-the-shelf frameset. It was essentially a custom frame.

    peloton - June 2013

Nope, in 99 and 00 he was riding stock geometry in a larger size so he could have the right top tube length.

    Who's Lance and what's a Parlee?
A chromoly steel bicycle will last just as long as titanium, if kept dry.

I'm keeping my Parlee no matter who else gets one. It's the best riding bike I've owned.
