Looking for more information on new (to me) bike

I was looking to get a new Supersix EVO 105 when I noticed the bike shop just got a trade in Supersix Ultegra that they were selling for cheap. They thought it was an 07í and after riding it a lot and getting fitted on it I bought it. When I ran the serial number it says itís a 2014. The frame doesnít say EVO and the paint doesnít look like the 2014s I have been able to see pictures of. I realize that the serial number doesnít lie but did they make a non-EVO in 2014? I weighed it and it was exactly 17 lbs without cages and with plastic demo pedals. 6 lbs lighter than my Fuji! Any input here? Thanks

Interesting. Do you have Shimano Ultegra 9 speed or 10 speed? If this is a 2014 model they came equipped with Ultegra 11 speed. All SuperSix models were EVOs as of 2013. As for the weight, I'm not surprised. Sounds about right for the Ultegra model with those pedals. You're right about the serial number though. This one might have been a frameset built up though. If you can send a pic, that would help tremendously.

I have Ultegra 10 speed. I think it might be a build since it has Mavic Krysium Elites although that doesnít prove much. I am out of town this week but will post pictures when I get back. It has the same paint job as some 2015s I was able to see online albeit with a different fork.

Possibility previous owner had the frame replaced and carried over the parts.
