is this a good deal? I test rode it (it is a demo), a few chips in the paint, but it seems alright, definitely not new. Not that local a bike store, but the service was good.
I don't like the Ultegra shifters too much (I have low end Campy now and would prefer to get Campy shifters on my next bike), though they have an awesome reputation. The frame felt great and I wouldn't mind riding it again. Don't like the bars too much. Don't know much about Bontrager parts (inhouse Trek right?).
Advice? Thinking of waiting and seeing what else pops up.
One thing that kind of bothered me. Nowhere on the frame did it say Discovery Channel. Only OCLV 120 & it had the normal blue. Was this really a Madone?
Sizing was correct for me. 53 is slightly small (Bianchi Eros), and the 54 feels slightly large (Madone). Either way is fine with me.
