Talking My first road bike: 2006 Titus Modena

With all due respect to my Klein hardtail on slicks and Felt F1X cyclocross commuter, my first REAL road bike: 2006 Titus Modena. Carbon tubes with aluminum lugs. Straight Ultegra with an R700 compact (and an oh-so wussy 46t big ring).

Love it! Those Thomson bits are sexy! Why such a small big ring, though (if that makes sense)?

Thanks. I like having the drapes match the curtains, hence the matching Thomsons.
I'm not a big gear masher- more of a spinner, hence the smallish outer ring.

What brand is that 46T ring? Can you post a close-up of the crank?

The 46t ring is an FSA Pro S10 on a Shimano R700 170mm compact (with OEM 34t small ring). I'll try to take a picture later tonight

I have always love the look of that frame!

Did you get the frame from Colorado Cyclist?

Nope- eBay. I bought the Titus as a complete bike from the seller, Bob's Bicycles in Idaho (a certified dealer of Titus stuff). I was originally going to go for a custom Curtlo, but the price (and immediate gratification) was too good to pass up.
