    My new ride...Bianchi Freccia Celeste

Hello all......new member, been riding for 40 years or so. The story behind this ride is I got a Bianchi when I was 12 for my first 10 speed bike. Loved it and since then always wanted "the celeste green one" that my 12 year old eyes had seen......had Cannondales, Specialized, Treks, Faggin, and various others. My current ride is a Lemond.....Enter the Craigslist ad for a Bianchi Freccia Celeste aluminum frameset with carbon fork, headset, stem and handlebars....for a steal...just finished building it with SRAMRed/Force, and Stans No Tubes w/ White Industries T-11 hubs....have only ridden it twice, but love it so far.

Seriously nice! Your going to love those WI hubs.

I think it needs a black stem. Also I think I would go all out Celeste with that bike, tires and bar tape, you already have it on the saddle. I did it with my buddies bike very similar to yours Aluminum Celeste Bianchi with carbon stays and fork. Vittoria Rubino tires and Lizard Skin Celeste bar tape, looks just right.

Or if you want to keep the Celete down a bit you could do Celeste hoods and keep the black bar tape.

+2 for celeste hoods and black tape and stem. Celeste tape would be nice too.

I love the nice uncluttered paint job! The current fashion of gaudy finishes sucks.

You guys are killing me....my wad is spent. I did the black tape on purpose because I wanted it a bit under stated. I never really even considered the stem as it was on the frameset when I bought it. Maybe if I run across one...as far as the hoods, I've never seen celeste.....where might I find them for my SRAM levers? Any way, thanks for all the nice remarks....it really is a beautiful bike, if I can say so myself.
