    New 2010 De Rosa IDOL

I was emailed photos of the new 2010 de rosa IDOL. I have serious lust for this new bike. Please tell me I am crazy for wanting this bike--- because I really need to hold onto my money during the Great Recession. I am on the verge of throwing down a deposit. Lock me up.

    It has nice lines...

but the idol logos and their placement make it look like crap.

Maybe its just me but I liked the outgoing model much better. Or maybe its the same phenomenon that happens with new cars.

That bike looks nice, but that ISP is the worst design ever. You have to drill a hole then put in a screw to hold everything.

    No thanks

Nice looking...a bit chunky in some spots. A bike like that deserves some pretty podium gals...not those guys in the background. Minus some points for that. ;)

Oh wow, totally missed that part of the bike since I am so used to seeing it (on my bike). That is a pretty horrible design; I hope the seat post itself has a cutout or something. Otherwise how would you move it up or down a millimeter?

Any bike is recession proof since it uses no gas.

    Buy It Now !!!

The IDOL logo is a kind of dull and large font though.
With people like Peter P. around, I am done posting on this website. Mean people have driven me off after 9 plus years. Good luck newbies beware.

I have that in my bike. I can not tell you anything good about it apart from weight saving. But I have not found anything bad. I do find nice when I travel, I remove the whole thing with saddle included and it is easy to mount when I arrive at other location without removing saddle. Let's see what time will tell.

Oh, about the bike I will like to see the MSRP before stamping my opinion.
