    I love Pegorettis. If I only has money . . . (sigh).

I'm not a big fan of carbon or black parts. If you're not going to do a ton of climbing, why not use silver cranks, etc?

Does this mean you'll chnage your name?

Post a pic of that frame asap. I'm so jealous. I would go with the pewter king and upgrade the shifters to Chorus. I would also prefer Zondas for their thinner steel spokes and $ saved. Grey tape will work well with the '08 paint but since your saddle will be white (bless you for that) the tape should match IMO. Use Fizik tape, it's very easy to keep clean. Don't forget to take lots of pics
Pegoretti? Pass the Kool-Aid and don't be stingy...

find the non ergo dedas. The one LA liked to use.

    or Nitto Bar and Stem

look for an NOS Chorus group before it went CF

just have a locval wheel builder build you some 32 3x Campy Hubs to Mavic rims

Definitely go with silver campy cranks. You can get new record for around $100-130. A peg deserves as much silver as you can put on it. Forget the carbon bits unless it it inconvenient or more costly (which is rarely the case.)

    Aliente (sp?) Saddle & Tape

I have a Fina Estampa, which has never looked better since I added Veloflex tires w/ tan gum rubber sidewalls. I am now lusting to swap saddle & tape for that matching Tan / Brown set from Fizik for that new school / old school look.
