    Secteur or Trek H2?

I bought a 64 cm SECTEUR COMP APEX COMPACT in late Oct 2011. I just hit the 3000 mile mark on it earlier this week. I'm 68, 6'5" and 210 pounds (was 230 when I bought it). In Oct I struggled to do my 15 mile daily route at 14 mph. This morning I did my first 11 miles at 18.3 mph and my daily route total of 19 miles was 16.8 mph. I live in Florida on a bike trail that has mild hills. I find myself always on the lower bars and usually using the 50/11 gear and always standing going up hills and getting up to speed.

I love the Secteur but have been eyeing a 2012 64cm Trek 5.9 that just went on sale. Anyone have experience with difference between Trek H2 and Secteur/Robauix? Would I be more upright and closer to the standing position with the 5.9?

    I'm also considering a 53/39 chain ring. My Secteur has a 50/34.

The best answer is for you to try out the bike. My Trek H2 bike is very comfortable but not too upright like their H3 bikes. That Trek 5.9 bike on sale is a killer bike by the way.
