Small bike - level top tube

I have been searching for a bike or custom frame builder that is a 49/50 with a 51.5 level top tube. I would love to see pix of bikes like that you have. Thanks.

Miss M's custom Waterfords and Rivendells have level top tubes. Since they are custom you can get pretty much anything you want.

You can see them in the "Bikes Women Ride" thread on the Womens Cycling+ Forum

Nice ride, but my boys hurt just looking at that seat angle.

Yep, somebody beat you to that comment the first time I posted these pics. I was futzing with the seat when I decided to stop what I was doing and take some snaps. This is actually outside the offices of Bicycling magazine.

    Steelman's standard 49 c-c has a 51.5 tt and a 74 degree sta.

Any custom builder should be able to build something similar.

I have seen that on his website too, but have never seen a picture of a bike that fits that.

found this Carrera (52 tt) on eBay and i found a Strong frame (51tt) about 2 weeks later. Both were frame/fork deals. The Strong is a custom frame. It was custom for someone else that didn't go through with it. the geometry looked like it would work so i bid. i transferred parts from other bikes.

The Strong turned out great. I saw it too and thought it was a great deal. Geometry very similar to Gunnar Roadie.

I got really lucky last month. I was about to pull the trigger on a custom frame and came across both of these frames. So 2 frames for the price of a custom. Haven't ridden both of them more than 10 miles since i built them. The Strong went to 2 bike shops to get built, attracted attention where ever it went. Beautiful finish and smooth welds.

Here is a level top tube non-custom 49cm Serotta Atlanta. top tube was 51cm. the head tube was too short so i went to compact frame. the parts are on the Carrera above but not by first being transferred to a lemond for 2 seasons.

My calfee 48CM has a 51.5 TT. BUT I believe it is just and I mean just slightly sloped. Someone on this board smarter than I am can answer that question. I Love the bike.
