Hi,

I'm currently on a regular road bike (25.6" (65cm) seat tube, 23,4" (59,5cm) top tube, 130mm/-17° stem) with a Profile ZBS clip-on bar and think about getting a proper triathlon bike. The setup works quite well for me, but I definitely want a triathlon base bar and bar end shifter. So, before I spend money and realize that I actually wanted the full package, i.e. a tri bike, I thought I'd better ask you for help and some input.

Some biodata: 6'6'' (203cm), 3'3'' (101cm) inseam, 198.4lb (90kg)

I guess I don't want a much shorter top tube (ca. 60cm/23.5"). The seat tube angle doesn't have to be too steep, since this tends to cause me knee problems. Bottom bracket - seat rail distance must be 83cm / 32.7", probably with a small reserve in case I want to raise the saddle (steeper seat angle).

Shimano drivetrain would be best, especially a Shimano bottom bracket and crankset so I can swap cranks with my current bike (180mm DA).

A no-frills package with aluminum frame and wheels would be fine, I don't want to spend a fortune. However, an affordable carbon bike would also be great. I'm looking for something in the region of 2,500€.

THX!
