    BMC Cross Machine - opinons?

I'm in need of a frame on which I can use fatter tires, and my friendly LBS has one of these framesets in my size. Cannot find it on the BMC site or their archived pages back to 2010. Anyone know the true vintage, and have any opinion of the frame?

I partially answered my own question. I see that this was introduced at the 2007 Eurobike show, so probably 2008 was the first year, and since I don't see it in 2010, was it just sold for a year or two?

    There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?

    One.

So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...
and if you fix your attitude you can ride along with me.

If you can get a good price on it, buy it. It makes a great all-around bike. I bought one in 2010 and built it up as a road/off-road commuter. I currently have some meaty (45s) Specialized cross tires on it but am looking for something a little smaller and smoother now that it is mainly on asphalt roads.

    Thanks for the reply.

They wanted $1300 for a 4 yo frameset which I thought not such a bargain.

Ended up with a Cinelli alloy frame with full carbon tapered fork for $900. Built up, and with 40mm tires was perfect for the trails in England.
