Looking for 09 Centaur groupos....
As the title suggests. I think there is some place in Britain selling them for some $760
-
info...
www.comobike.com in Italy has the carbon group for about 740 and the aluminum group for about 586. Prices change a little every day, since they are converting from Euros.
Also check out www.bike24.com and www.ribblecycles.co.uk. TotalCycling also has decent prices.
Freight is high from bike 24. It says 30 euros, but if a whole groupo won't fit in a flate rate box, the freight charge might be twice that. I got charged 90 Euro to ship three boxes with two groupos in them and the cranks are missing in action, since 10-15. Got no clue if I'll ever get them, but at least with a credit card you won't get stuck for parts that are lost in shipping.

Like C-40, I received my 09 Centaur group from comobike. it took a few weeks to ship, as they were missing the alu rear derailleur, but suddenly found it just after i emailed them enquiring about my goods. All's well that ends well.

www.totalcycling.com has always been a favorite of mine. Usually get stuff in under 5 days to the east coast of the U.S.A.

Dang. Just make sure they send the 2009 cable set.. Como didn't.

So far I haven't seen any of the '09 Centaur shifters ship with the new cables, has anybody else gotten them with 10 speed levers?

I'd be glad to find a set of standalone new cables anywhere, I haven't found those either.

I also got the new cable set from Ribble with my 09 Centaurs. The new gear shift cable casings are a smaller diameter (4.1mm down from 4.4mm I think)

My vote goes to totalcycling.com. Over the last couple years I've gotten all my campy stuff from them. You save crazy $$$ going over the pond. Got carbon centaur crank for around $250, just got my 09 alloy centaur shifters sent w/ cables under $200 after shipping. Like the other person said, I'm on the east coast, will get my stuff in 5 days. Only gripe is that they take a while to reply to emails. My suggestion, get a calling card & get on the horn if you must get a hold of them (I've had to, but not over anything serious, but there service is just fine).
