I suspect there will soon be a slightly updated version after numerous reports of people getting their laces get suck in their chains... but at least you can see what these look like w/ dark and light jeans!

It is worth the click just to play with the "see it with jeans." Too cool.

My first MTB shoes were lace-ups ... they were a pain.

I think the way to do it w/ these is to use elastic cord as laces, laced from the top while leaving a loop, and use a cord lock to tighten... I also like the look of the black ones

Or, when you tie the laces, make sure they're off to the side.

Hipsters are rockin' laces on their fixies all the time. I think these will be great shoes and plan on picking up a pairnwhen I get the coin.

    I love my Springwaters

I'm waiting for the wing tips.
Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them you'll be a mile away & you'll have their shoes.

    That's another name for brogue.

Actually, broguing is (simplified) the placement of holes in the shoe leather that allow for the draining of water when walking through the fields.

not a fan of the tan shoe. though the black/grey coronado cruisers are kinda cool. not spd, but my commuter doesn't use spd pedals so it's all good.

...add a pair of lace locks from any running store or REI, like the ones on my Shimano commuters.

...or, tie the laces, and shove the ends under the crossed laces.
