Contour HD Roam test drive on CX and road bike

Hi all, I enjoy photography almost as much as riding so I decided to pick up a Contour HD. Made a bracket that attached to the quick release and can point forward or backward from the right front or the left rear. Took it on a test ride using the CX bike on Saturday then on the road bike Sunday. Tested both the video and the 5 MP stills. Found some interesting distortion on the stills at very high speed (35 + MPH downhill) I think it was due to camera shake. Anyhow here are some stills and a link to the video.

Guess we will have to call the distortion warp speed! ;-)

There has been some discussion of distortion in the video camera thread at the Australian Cycling Forums. Might be worth a read to see if you can pick up tips for a fix.

    Nice mount BTW.
