    Copenhagen loves bike commuters

Saw this on Bike Snob today. The foot rest reads: "Hi, cyclist! Rest your foot here... and thank you for cycling in the city."

    Copenhagen

They really do. I was there for about a week last month and they adore commuters. They say something like a quarter of all people commute everyday to work on bikes. It is very nice

If I had to pay the amount of tax they do on everything I wouldn't own a car either though.

I would gladly double my taxes for a cycling infrastructure like Copenhagen's.

Wouldn't it be cool if a lot of people bike commuted. It would be a happier and healthier society. Or taxes and health care cost would most likely get cut in half.
