San Jacinto battlefield in Le porte,Tx. and Natchez trace in Jackson,Ms.

Posting as a two for one, I didn't get that many pics on the Natchez trace bike trail even tho nice nothing exciting to report.

Now I loved my trip to the U.S.S Texas battleship. I was parked at the truckstops in Baytown,TX. Rode 1.5 miles west on the I10 service rd. to Crosby lynchburgh rd. for another 2.5 miles, had to board a ferry to cross the bay. Then about another mile or so to the park. I did get to board a plunder around the U.S.S Texas and rode the elevator to the top of the San Jancito monument 481ft up. I am a little pressed for time and will save you the agony of me detailing each pic, if your ever in the Houston area I highly recommend checking this sight out.

    At the trail head

At the end of the 8.75 mile long bike trail

I thought it as a nice spot.

Now to the good pics !

I'm a sucker for battleship and monuments so naturally I love this thread.

    Thanks big time for posting!
