    2009 Kuota Kebel BB thread

I have a 2009 Kuota Kebel and I need to order a BB but I don't know what kind (English, Italian) should I buy. Does anybody there knows what kind of BB fits my bike? Or where in the current BB says about it.

    Thanks.

You need to take out the current BB and look at the threading. If they're both threaded the same direction it's an Italian BB. Usually it also states British or Italian standard on the BB or cups. British (much more common) is usually labeled 1.37x24 whereas Italian is labeled 36x24.

since when do you have to remove the bb and visually confirm the thread direction? an Italian bb shell is 70mm wide, English is 68 (or on a mtb possibly 73). all you have to do is measure it... and, as you said it's usually labeled.

I have a 2010 Kebel, which is the same as 2009 as far as I know. You'll need English BB.

The Kebel features internal cable routing and a BB30 bottom bracket......as you should be able to verify once its removed.

For me it's easier to just look at a thread direction rather than trying to measure shell width with the BB still in place, especially with outboard bearings. YMMV.

Thank you for the responses, I will check tonight. This Kebel does not have internal cabling except for the RD and just at the BB area. I Apreciate it.

with outboard bearings it says right on the cup, as well.
