    50T/36T Rings for Shimano DA (130 BDC) Cranks

    Does anyone make chain rings that will fit the DA crank in other than 39/53? The idea of a compact is interesting but I can't find a crank that I like as much as my 7700 DA.

    SpecialitÚs TA makes rings like that. Ask your LBS or switch LBS if they haven't heard of them.

    38t is as small as you can go with a 130 BCD. - TF

    Aything less than 38 teeth will bring the teeth right into the bolt diameter.

    Yeah, the more I look into the compact philosophy the more I convince myself that it's not worth it.
    I've been on a 39/53 for 22 years, it's worked that long it'll keep working......
