Hi all:
I just got a new bike with Easton EC-90 rims and a professional bike mechanic told me that the pads on my Skeleton brakes weren't designed for the carbon rims.
Is there any way I can confirm this? They're all black and don't seem to have any writing on them that would indicate a model. Having said that, I haven't removed them and looked at the back.
Thanks. It seems odd that the manufacturer would make this mistake and I'd like a second opinion before I throw down $60 on the obnoxious yellow ones recommended by Easton.
