    BB30A and BBright?

Could someone with some experience with these two configurations help me out? I just bought a Synapse with BB30A, and I'm looking for a solution to run Shimano cranks without adaptors (24mm spindle). WheelsMFG makes a threaded BBright bracket that accepts a 24mm spindle. They do not however make a BB30A bracket.

It's my understanding the only difference between the two is BBright is 79mm wide, while BB30A is 73mm wide. Seems to me the only thing preventing this BBright from mounting into a BB30A frame would be the threads bottoming out. If it has enough thread to 'take-up' the extra 6mm, would this work?

BBright is pressfit 30, ie 46 mm dia.

    BB30a is a wider version of BB30 with a 42 mm ID.

So no, it won't work because 46 mm dia won't fit into 42 mm dia.

Wheels have adapters. They plug into the installed bearings to sleeve them down to 24 mm. Then a variety of spacers as required.

So you need to have the BB30 bearings installed first.
