I use the one that comes with Mavic wheels for all the bladed spoked wheels I true. It has 3 different sized slots to fit all kinds of bladed spokes.

But you can make one with a small piece of wood with a slot cut into it.
    You can't fix stupid.

Nothing like reusing scrap wood. If there isn't any lying around, your local home improvement store can probably give you a piece, and maybe even notch it for you.

    homemade

I took a piece of aluminum 1/4 in thich, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 in wide and 4 in long or so. I took a hacksaw ans sawed a slot in it at an angle. About a 1/4 in deep. Works great.

Your LBS can order what you need from Park Tool Company (BSH-4). It'll likely be around $10.

Find a piece of scrap anything. A dowel rod, a piece of aluminum, steel or plastic. Anything light and comfortable to hold. Use a hacksaw to cut a slot 3/16" deep into the side at one end. Clean it up and your good to go.
