Campy Ultra-Shift Ergopower levers - small plastic parts???

Finally installing the Campy Chorus 11 groupset on my bike before winter is over. The box with the levers had these two small parts in it. Anybody know what they are?

Unfortunately, discovered AFTER I have the levers installed!!! But derailleurs still not installed, so I could pull them, but routing first through the carbon handlebar and then through the frame... let's just say I'd prefer not to pull the levers off.

The curved edge is the same diameter as the handbars.

    THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Found this pic on ebay, but still don't really know where they go. Campy Ultra-Shift Ergopower levers - small plastic parts???-%24_57.jpg

Fortunately, I don't have big hands, so can go ahead with the rest of this build without using them.

    Thanks a million!

They go behind the lever where it attaches to the bar and they more or less kick the lever out from the bar a bit...if I'm remembering correctly. Kind of a pain in the ass compared to a lever adjustment screw.

I can't think of any lever adjustment screws that extend the lever further out.

Did I need to mention that ALL other levers are more intelligently designed and use the lever adjustment screw to bring the lever closer for small hands?

Yes. Did I mention that known of those adjustment screws are going to make the lever further out for large hands?

How's this concept, design 'em for big hands and use an adjustment screw to adjust them IN for smaller hands? I can't believe CX let that one lie!!!
