    Carbon forks query

    Hi All,

I'm looking to query types of headset, I have a set of carbon forks from a trek 1.5 2009 which are classed as semi integrated. I'm seeking to fit them to a alu frame with pressfit steel cups. So i'm looking to find out if there are any headsets around that would facilitate that.
Original steel forks were caged bearings into the steel cups.
Cup Diameter and frame are 34.1mm x 7.5mm deep.
new forks have a hardened steel chamfer in the bottom of the steerer tube 30mm shoulder by 3.5mm deep, 29.5mm machined alu diameter.

Sorry for the late reply. The frame is what you need to be concerned with. The fork can be used either way. You need a 1-1/8" integrated headset. Cane Creek, FSA, Chris King, etc. should still sell them. I thought that was a Scattante at first but I see that it is not. What brand is that?
