Which clipless system is this?
First post on this forum. Actually, I'm just getting into road riding too. I grew up on a mountain bike on the west coast and have decided to give road biking a try. Picked up a vintage Bianchi in fantastic shape at a garage sale and am loving it so far!
I got a pair of clipless shoes/cleats/pedals from a friend, although I'm not totally sure what clip system it is. I've attached a picture. I'm pretty sure it's Look Delta, but I haven't seen any with the metal-plastic combo. I'd like to replace the clips, and maybe order some covers so the next ones don't get so beaten up.
What kind of clips are these?
Those are "cleats", not clips. And they're definitely not Look Delta. Delta's are all plastic.

Never seen cleats like that before.
What brand of pedal does it fit?
I seem to remember that Look made some sort of off road pedal, back in the 90's.

Buying parts to hang on your bike is always easier than getting fit.

Shoe fit is soooooooo incredibly important that I'm always amazed when someone says they got used shoes from someone else.
Wellgo only makes cheap pedals, that's probably why your buddy gave them to you. I'd just use them as they are until they wear out, then switch to another, newer system.
Edit: I just looked at the link above and they are out of stock.
What pedal/shoe combo do you ride on your mountain bike? If your shoes are good just get the same pedals for the road bike.
Lots of people (me included) ride "mountain" pedals and shoes on road bikes.

Great, thanks for the replies everyone! Yeah, I'll probably just run these until they put up a fight, then switch to another pedal system. Cross that bridge when I come to it.
The shoes fit great, actually. I just ran flats back when I was mountain biking - I did a lot of downhill riding, and I'm not interested in being clipped in when riding ladders and technical stuff!

Re: Which clipless system is this?
There are some pretty good Wellgo pedals. Wellgo is like Giant...they make a lot of pedals that don't have their name on them. Don't be so quick to diss the Wellgo pedals.
