Wondering what others have found...
Short story is my frame was replace for a minor crack (nice on Felt customer service). The replacement frame (FC) is very dialed for electric shifting. To run shifter cables, there is a little plastic piece where the braze-ons normally are to guide the cable. Well, it isn't threaded, so you can't put a barrel adjuster in there.
First ride, shift, shift, cable stretch. All is normal until I go to take out the stretch in the FD... no way to do that now.
I ended up going to LBS and they put in an inline adjuster for me. Quick and easy fix. And another reason I like my LBS.
So, morale of the post: think through your adjustment points and when you get a rebuild/new cables, do a short cruiser ride to make sure all is well.
