    FSA OS-115 Stem

    Some of these stems come with a white FSA logo on the carbon faceplate and some with a red logo. Does anyone know if there is a reason for this?

    red = for red bike

    white = for white bike

    if you have any other color bike, stay away from this stem.

    I don't consider it a stupid question. An FSA rep told me he didn't know why but was ceratin it hadn't nothing to do with a color preference. However, apparently, your considerable knowledge of FSA products is only exceeded by your considerable rudeness.

    Come on guys.. No personal attacks...

    The stem on FSA's website shows a red logo. I'm not familar with this stem. Is it possible that white was last years model? or a 2007 model?

    Could be, Dave - I didn't think of that. Thanks.

    Mine is nearly two years old and has the red FSA logo's on the faceplate and sides of the stem, just like the one on the website. I have never seen an OS-115 with white lettering.

    Some said...

    The red wording on the Carbon faceplate is for full carbon stem, white wording is for carbon wrap - alloy stem.

    I own the full carbon k force stem with the red wording on the carbon faceplate, and a carbon pro stem (carbon wraped)- (not shown on the website) with white wording on the carbon faceplate and the stem body.

    Some were saying red and white wording is for road and mtb stem..
