    integrated cable problem?

    Hi,

My new road bike build is a carbon frame with integrated shifter cable channels. I have noticed that the channel for the rear derailler cable has one area near the bottom of the downtube where the cable is very difficult to thread. A bend or narrow spot? Anyway the right hand shifting( Dura Ace ,used) seems a bit sluggish compared to another bike with identical components.

Just wondering if anyone has had such a problem, is it a possible cause of the shifting issue, and any suggestions on how to open the channel a bit? Thanks

maybe if you told us what kind of frame it is we'd have some chance of actually knowing what you're talking about.

More info would be good. What's the channel made of at the point of the constriction?

One possible way to open it that might work would be to string a length of cable through there and pull it back and forth a foot or two and under some tension a bunch of times until it moves freely. Lot's of caveats, of course.
    ... 'cuz that's how I roll.

The frame is a recent carbon frame . Guess the question is what might be a viable way to open a carbon frame channel. Hope this forum is really a bit friendlier...

    Then leave.

You came asking for people to diagnose a problem but were not willing to give information to do it withe then got pissy when people pointed that out.
