    Maroon bar tape

My wife has a maroon-colored Bianchi that is in need of new bar tape. She doesn't want black, white has well-known problems with getting dirty; does anyone know a source of maroon or maroon-flecked tape that could match? All the reds I see out there are much too, well, bright red...

Start with red tape. Do whatever is you do that makes white tape look dirty. The result will be maroon colored tape.

    Cinelli....

used to have a color they called "brick". Not really maroon, but not nearly as red as the "red"; closer to...well...brick (or rust) colored I guess. Might be kind of hard to find; I was able to get some on eBay a while back, but never see it at any of the usual e-tailers.
