Mavic cassette
I know that mavic makes a conversion cassette that can make a Mavic (shimano compatible) wheels work with a 10speed campy drivetrain. Has anyone ever used it before? How is it?
Also, would this cassette only work with a shimano spline hub? Or i can use it with my campy spline hub as well?
Basically if i have two mavic wheelsets (one shimano compatible, the other campy compatible), will i be able to use this cassette for both wheelsets?
Thanks

I have one. A 12-25 10sp. It works on Shimano freehubs and allows you to use a Campy drivetrain. It shifts perfectly! I run it on a 2003 Campy Chorus/Record drivetrain with no problems. It will not fit a Campy hub.

requires a mavic M10 freehub...
This cassette can only be used on a Mavic M10 freehub that has a shimano spline pattern and a casette body that is longer than standard shimano body. It won't work with standard shimano hubs, or other brands of shimano compatible hubs.

The AC 10-speed cassette does fit a standard shimano freehub.
