New chainring for 12 yr old shimano hallow tech 105 crank

I ride a cannondale Caad4 9 sp from 2001 and need a new outer chainring, the original ring is shimano sg b-53. I know now what that means, but couldn't find a new one, looking to buy a shimano 105 b-52? Will this work? And if so what chain would you recommend? Thanks for the help!!

Praxis Works makes classic chain rings. You have to buy them in sets though.

Thanks! I'm hoping to find something on a budget, for that money I would probably upgrade to a whole new crank set? This is what I was thinking Your Basket

The 52 ring will work just fine. As for a chain, I have good luck with the XTR/ Dura Ace 7701 chain.

You can find them. Look up the shimano part number and search on that. I found new rings for my 1999 Shimano ultegra crank on Amazon.
    ... 'cuz that's how I roll.
