"out front" style mounts for Garmin

What are folks recommendation for these (and why are they so freakin' expensive?) I have two mounts in use now. One is the Bar Fly 2.0 which works very well buts appears to be discontinued. I have another cheap knockoff from Velo Encounters that is a bit flimsy and vibrates on rough road. What are you thoughts on the other offerings from Garmin, K-Edge, etc?

I like Garmin's offering the best but $30 for a piece of plastic is unreasonable... try to find unboxed OEM or take-off versions on eBay for slightly cheaper.

I love (!) the outfront mounts. Not that it was tough looking 4" closer in, but it is nice having it out there - easier to glance down. It's also nice decluttering the bar.

There are so many 3rd party companies making mounts now. I found a mount to marry my Sycnros bar, Wahoo Bolt and Cygolite. Surely there's something for the Garmin you'll like.

Check out Shapeways https://www.shapeways.com/marketplac...q=garmin+mount as a starting point

I've got an older k-edge that I've been happy with. It's a solid mount but it is quite expensive.
    Too old to ride plastic

Iíve got a few Velo Endeavors plastic things that work fine. They were like $15 on Amazon.

Unless they changed the design, the Velo Encounters one I have is too flimsy for my taste. But, it was cheap

Another SRAM Bar mount user. I use it with the Garmin 800. The 800 is very secure in this mount.
