Hi there,
I need to buy a / upgrade to a new chain tool (old one broke apart), a friend recommended either the Park Tool Chain Tool 4.2 or the Shimano TL-CN32.
I have to admit that I tend towards the Shimano "classy" look one, but I heard that the shape and form of the Park Tool is better designed to hold the chain in place (it looks like it is a 8 shape where the chain sits in exactly...where the Shimano has the "classic rail guides").
What is your experiences with them?
My concern is that the Park Tool might be limited to some chains because of it's thight 8 shape to hold the chain in place?
Are there any problems/ incompatible chains known for the Park Tool?
Alos, the Shimano comes with 2 extra spare pins hidden in the wood handle
Thanks!
Oliver
