    PF30 to English

I bought a new 2013 Kona Jake The Snake frame from Bikeman. It takes a PF30 BB, But I want to use a Campy Athena Carbon 11 chainset which I have laying around. What is the best way to accomplish this. I know I need an adaptor but which one is best?

I'm going to build up a Campy bike for a friend sometime soon. If he ends up with a PF30 frame I'm planning to use the SRAM PF30 to English adapters with regular Campy threaded cups. They look like they would be better than the Campy solution and I have seen good reviews. You screw the cups in first then press in the adapters.

Most of the other solutions I have seen have been have been for UT cranksets rather than PT. The SRAM solution would work for either. I've been doing a little more research and it looks like a good idea to use a Locktite retaining compound 609 or 648.

There is also the Campy solution, but this is one of the few times I've have read a fair amount of criticism of a piece of Campy designed equipment.

I used a Praxis Works on a CAAD 10 for a friend. It works flawlessly.
I know PF30 and BB30 but the idea is the same.

    +1 on this

Praxis Works on a CAAD 10 will work perfectly. I saw it many times being done.

If they make a Campy version, the're not putting it up on their website. Looks like Shimano only.

There was a news piece about a Campy version, but no product yet apparently. If someone has more, let me know please.

Yes, I went to their site hoping there was a Campy version since it gets such good reviews but no luck.

This is the one I'm leaning toward also.

Unfortunately Praxis won't be designing a conversion bb that will be Campagnolo compatible. I sent an email several months back and Praxis said they've decided it was no longer in the works. I'm pretty sure it has to do with Shimano being their primary OE partner.

When one does a fair amount of research, as I have, you discover that the choices for fitting a Powertorque crank into a PF30 frame are pretty limited. There are really only 2 ways: either use the Campy press-in PT cups, or convert the frame to threaded. And there's only a couple of manufacturers I've found for the latter - SRAM and these guys who make an alloy version of the SRAM

    ADAPTER PF30 to BSA

There are more alternatives for UT, but I'm leaning to the threaded solution for that also.
