Removing Chris King PF30 Bottom Bracket

    Hi,
I need to send my ti frame back for some warranty work. It has a Chris King PF30 bottom bracket that has been creak free and I am worried that removing the bb and reinstalling after the warranty work is done will increase the risk of the dreaded press fit creak. The bb needs to be removed for the work to be performed
    Is this a legitimate concern?

    Thanks

    Define "legitimate."

    My serious response is two-fold:

    1. It's always fair to worry about messing up something on the bike that is currently working fine, so I understand why you'd prefer not to remove and reinstall a BB that's working fine.

    2. On the other hand, there is NO real reason to worry. If the BB has worked well up to now, then properly removing, cleaning, re-lubing, and reinstalling shouldn't change a thing.
