Removing freehub from DT R470 wheels with thru axle

Trying to service my freehub and the thru axle seems to be making the process different than the service videos on the DT site. Usually I can just leave the cassette on and pop that bad boy off, but even using a vice to hold the other side of the axle doesnít seem to be working. It looks like thereís a reverse threaded end cap instead of the usual press fit ones, but I could be wrong. This is on a brand new Roubaix FWIW. Any tips?

The hub is not a r470. The r470 is a rim.

What year/model of Roubaix is it?

Sorry for the mixup on the naming, Specialized calls the whole wheel set a R470:

Weird. I don't stock that model in the shop, and Specialized's dealer website/service parts finder also simply show it as a wheel. No idea what hub is on that bike.

You're not going to find any instructions on the web until you figure out what kind of hub is spec'd on that bike. Give the dealer you bought it from tomorrow, they'll be able to call Specialized and hopefully get you some answers. Also, if you go into the dealer they'll probably just figure it out.

Thanks, was going to go to the dealer if needed, was hoping this would be easier to figure out on my own.

Ok I figured it out. Definitely not a DT hub so Iím guessing itís one of their Axis ones. Had to remove the centerlock disc, and then one side of the end caps comes off ala pressfit. That exposes the axle with two holes in it, which you can stick an Allen key through for leverage while you unscrew the reverse threaded endcap on the other side of the hub. After that, freehub pulls right off.
